So this will sound strange for those of you on the other side of the screen, but hear me out. When I update these blog posts, I’m going to be following my personal method of studying.

The Method to the Madness

Let’s suppose I have 3 chapters in a book that are organized like this:

  • Chapter 1
    • Section 1
    • Section 2
    • Section 3
  • Chapter 2
    • Section 1
    • Section 2
  • Chapter 3
    • Section 1
    • Section 2
    • Section 3
    • Section 4

The way I’m going to take notes will follow this order (Chapter.Section):

  • 1.1
  • 2.1
  • 3.1
  • 1.2
  • 2.2
  • 3.2
  • 1.3
  • 3.3
  • 3.4

Basically, I’m going to jump chapters after I’m done with a section. Within each chapter, I’m going to go chronologically, but in an extremely roundabout fashion.

“This sounds cool and all, Hari,” I hear you say, “but why should I care?” The fact of the matter is, that when I’m done with a section, I’m going to upload them not in chapter order, but in the order that I complete them in. This means that on Day 1 if I’m especially productive, I’ll upload 1.1, 2.1, and 3.1, and so on for the remaining days. But don’t worry, once I’m done, I’ll upload everything in the correct order on a chapter-by-chapter basis. This is so that those that come after, and that may want to look over a certain topic don’t have to open 10 different tabs to keep track of what’s happening.

Now, with all that said, let’s get started with Day 1.
